Victor Solis

Victor Solis is the fourth Key Guardian in Doodle World, and the president and creator of Oasis Energy.

Story Events[]

Oasis Energy’s Lobby[]

After battling a rebel, Victor Solis appears and introduces himself as the president of the Oasis Energy. He claims to know where Zane is and tells both Suzie and the Player at the Oasis Energy.

At Oasis Energy’s Lobby, he explains that Zane's family is the guardian of the Miracle Key. He also states that Zane lives in an abandoned warehouse at the outskirts of the Oasis and is decreasing the value of his property. Victor then adds on that it looks like an eyesore. Due to conflicts, he wants the player and Suzie to raid Zane's hideout using less than legal methods, so he can demolish it. He gives the player the code, “Zerzura” that he received because one of Zane's goons made a fatal error by trying to ambush him.

Zane’s Hideout[]

After the player beats Zane in a battle, it's revealed that Solis was lying all along. After that, Victor Solis appears to tell the player, Zane, and Suzie that his lawyers found a loophole in the city's codex which gives the city the right to demolish any building left in disarray for more than 10 years. Zane is in utter despair and calls Solis a monster. It is revealed that Zane’s family were prominent nobles who lived at the Ruined Castle, back before it was destroyed and decaying. Victor tells Suzie and the player that Zerzura is actually a legendary doodle that helped life flourish at the castle before he stole Zerzura and the Miracle Key. Zerzura is the reason why the Oasis exists in the first place. Now, Victor Solis wants to sell the key and the Oasis to DoodleCo and then take Zerzura with him to stop it from powering the Oasis any longer. Then, the citizens will blame DoodleCo for all the destruction, allowing Solis to buy the Miracle Key and the Oasis back for some cheap money. After Solis finishes his monologue, he leaves the abandoned warehouse.

Oasis Underground[]

When the player enters the passcode into the central machine at the Oasis Underground, Solis appears. He explains that he intentionally let the player assemble the passcode, which, instead of freeing Zerzura, initiates "project Zeta," which makes Zerzura subservient to all of Victor's commands. Now that Zerzura is under the control of Solis, the player and Solis battle.

Upon defeating Solis, he refuses to hand over the Miracle Key and the Tsunami Scroll unless the player lets him go. Suzie tells the player that he should be let go, as he will have to spend the rest of his life on the run. Solis accepts defeat, handing over the Miracle Key and the Tsunami Scroll. Then, he flees.

Afterwards, somewhere in the Oasis, Solis is confronted by an unknown figure. This figure says that they "disagree with Yami's beliefs" and think that the Shadow Clan should be feared once again. Solis pleads for mercy and attempts to bribe the figure, but appears to be unsuccessful, as he screams as the screen cuts to black, presumably being kidnapped or killed by the unknown figure. This figure is implied to be Kaze due to information given in Icyridge.
