A Blank Tint Icon

Tints are a kind of Doodle Cosmetic. They are a special variation of Doodles which are tinted in a specific color. Tinted Doodles can be found in the wild at a fixed 1/500 chance. The odds can not be improved by Chaining, instead it's improved by purchasing Tint and Multi-Tint upgrades in Ancient Coin Shop, or Weekly Bonus which grants 1.5x more chance to encounter tints.

Multi-Tints[]

There is a chance that a Doodle may have multiple tints. Multi-tinted doodles cycle through their different colors, slowly changing from one to another. For a double tint, it is a 1/10000 chance. Each additional tint changes the denominator by a factor of 10, this does not repeat. A doodle may have up to 24 tints.

1/500 * 500 * 10^(x-2)
(Single and Double Tints do not follow this)

Here are the current tint odds:

  • Triple Tint: 1/2.5M
  • Quad Tint: 1/25M
  • Penta Tint: 1/250M
  • Hexa Tint: 1/2.5B
  • Septa Tint: 1/25B

This does not account for the 1.5x boost in the first week of each month.

Tints can come in the following colors:

Unique Colors[]

These colors are exclusive/special by their means of obtaining:

  • No Tint: No Tint was a result of using a Tint Scraper on a Doodle before v0.7.2. Doodles received from codes may also have this tint.
  • Halloween: The Halloween tint is only obtainable by using a Halloween Tintbrush on a Doodle.
  • Christmas: The Christmas tint is only obtainable by using a Christmas Tintbrush on a Doodle.
  • Easter: The Easter tint was only obtainable during the Easter event with a 1/200 chance in the wild, 1/60 (1/30 with Island Voucher) chance in Runic Island, and 1/50 chance of appearing in roulette with the "E" prefix. The Easter tint was a limited tint and has been discontinued.
  • Sunset: The Sunset tint was a special type of tint that has a 1/1000 chance to appear in the wild, while a normal tint is only at 1/500. The Sunset tint was a limited tint and has been discontinued.
  • Pride: The Pride tint has the colors of the Pride Flag (a rainbow pattern). It is only available during Pride Month for certain Doodle's Evolutionary Lines:

  • July: The July tint is only obtainable by using a July Tintbrush on a Doodle. These Tintbrushes could be found on any wild Doodle at a 1/1000 during July event, purchasing anything from the Gem Shop on the week of its release, or through spinning the Summer Item Roulette in Beach Bay.
  • Roulette: The Roulette tint is a special type of tint that has a 1% chance to appear in the Roulette. It is only obtainable from the Roulette.
  • Animated Roulette: The Animated Roulette tint is an animated version of the Roulette tint, moving horizontally on a Doodle. It has a 0.3% chance to appear on the Roulette. It can only be obtained from the Roulette.
  • Hallerween: The Hallerween tint can be found after using a Hallerween Tome. The tint will always be on the doodle you are chaining. Without a chain, it will be on the first doodle you encounter.
  • Jolly: The Jolly tint was found on wild Doodles at 1/250 chance, or found on the Roulette. The Jolly tint was a limited tint.
  • Frost: The Frost tint was found on wild Doodles at 1/250 chance, or found on the Roulette. The Frost tint was a limited tint.
  • Amiable: The Amiable tint is only obtainable by using a Amiable Tintbrush on a Doodle. Amiable Tintbrushes are obtainable in the free Act 1 Battle Pass.
  • Galaxy: The Galaxy tint is only obtainable by using a Galaxy Tintbrush on a Doodle. Galaxy Tintbrushes are obtainable in the premium Act 1 Battle Pass.
  • Valentine's Day: The Valentine's Day tint can be found after using a Valentine Tome.
  • Affable: The Affable tint is only obtainable by using a Affable tintbrush on a Doodle. Affable Tintbrushes are obtainable in the free Act 2 Battle Pass.
  • Catface: The Catface tint is only obtainable by using a Catface tintbrush on a Doodle. Catface Tintbrushes are obtainable in the premium Act 2 Battle Pass.
  • Spring: The Spring tint is a seasonal tint added at Easter 2024. It can be obtained from wild doodles at 1/931 chance, Runic island at 1/120(1/60 with vouchers) chance, or 1/100 chance on the Roulette.
  • Anniversary: At Doodle World's 2nd anniversary, you can spin a skin roulette in Social Park for free. You get a random non-event skin with the doodle having this tint.
  • Convivial: The Convivial tint is only obtainable by using a Convivial Tintbrush on a Doodle. Convivial Tintbrushes are obtainable in the free Act 3 Battle Pass.
  • Glory: The Glory tint is only obtainable by using a Glory Tome on a Doodle. Glory Tomes are obtainable in the premium Act 3 Battle Pass.
  • Summer: The Summer tint is a seasonal tint added to replace the Spring tint. It can be obtained from wild doodles at 1/931 chance, Runic island at 1/120(1/60 with vouchers) chance, or 1/100 chance on the Roulette.
  • Phantom: The Phantom tint can be found in the wild at a 1/513 chance, in Runic Island at a 1/132 chance, 1/66 if it is a Voucher run, and a 1/66 chance in the Roulette.
  • Lemon Lime: The Lemon Lime tint is only obtainable by using a Lemon Lime Tintbrush on a Doodle. Lemon Lime Tintbrushes are obtainable in the free Act 4 Battle Pass.
  • Nature: The Nature tint is only obtainable by using a Nature Tome on a Doodle. Nature Tomes are obtainable in the premium Act 4 Battle Pass.
  • Watermelon: The Watermelon tint is a special tint that had its first debut in Beach Bay for the Summer 2024 event, with the only way of currently obtaining a Doodle with the tint is in the Summer Roulette.
  • Autumn: The Autumn Tint is a seasonal tint added to replace the Summer tint. It could possibly be encountered in the wild at a 1/931 chance, also appearing in the Roulette with a 1% chance.
  • Milestone: The Milestone Tint is a tint that is released for a limited time every 50 million visits Doodle World gets. It is a 1/1000 chance in the wild and can be increased by chaining. It maxes out at a 1/300 chance at a 1000 chain.
  • Ghoul: The Ghoul tint can be found in the wild at a 1/667 chance, also appearing in the Roulette with a 1% chance. It is the Halloween 2024 event tint.
  • Sanguine: The Sanguine tint can be found in the wild at a 1/400 chance. Also encounterable by trick-or-treating in Hallow Heights.
  • Fantasy: The Fantasy tint is only obtainable by using a Fantasy Tome on a Doodle. Fantasy Tomes are obtainable in the premium Act 5 Battle Pass.
  • Bundle: The bundle tint is only obtainable through the gem shop. The bundle tint is a part of the special offers they give out that cost Robux.
  • Joyful: The Joyful tint was found on wild Doodles at 1/300 chance, or found on the Roulette. The Joyful tint is identical to the Jolly tint.
  • Frigid: The Frigid tint was found on wild Doodles at 1/300 chance, or found on the Roulette. The Frigid tint is identical to the Frost tint.
  • Winter: The Winter Tint is a seasonal tint added to replace the Autumn tint. It could possibly be encountered in the wild at a 1/931 chance, also appearing in the Roulette with a 1% chance.
  • Hunter's Lament: The Hunter's Lament tint can be found on wild Doodles at a 1/600 chance and runic island. One of the few wild encounter tints that can't be obtained on the Roulette.
  • Retro: The Retro tint is only obtainable by using a Retro Tintbrush on a Doodle. Retro Tintbrushes are obtainable in the free Act 6 Battle Pass.
  • Glamour: The Glamour tint is only obtainable by using a Glamour Tome on a Doodle. Glamour Tomes are obtainable in the premium Act 6 Battle Pass.

Unique Tint Images[]

Examples of all of the unique Tints (using the Doodle Gekotta) are on the second slides. To use the gradients included in the slideshows to test tints, simply add a clipping layer with the gradient over the Doodle. Then, set it to multiply. No Tint is excluded from this gallery as it looks identical to a normal Doodle without the tint.

Trivia[]

  • If a Tint Scraper is used on a tinted non-Misprint Doodle, it still leaves a tint symbol when the Doodle gets sent out in battle. This was fixed as of v0.7.2.
  • Double-tinted chances used to be 1/250k (1/500*500). However, the odds changed after the 2x tint event (v0.4.7e).
  • TJ is the only NPC to own a Doodle with multiple tints, being a Boulduo with three tints.
    • He also uses it during his fight at Oasis Energy, however at that point it has since evolved into a Monolugg.
  • Tinted Doodles are printable at update v0.6.1. An Ink Bottle is needed to print them.
  • Wonder Trading any tinted doodle in Social Park gives 5 VP. The only exceptions are Watermelon tint and Sanguine tint.
  • When a doodle with limited tint is posted, two stars appear on either side of the tint's name. This applies to Sunset, Easter, Phantom, and also Jolly and Frost tint to differentiate Joyful and Frigid tint.
  • An official website where you could test normal tint colors on any image was posted on the game's Discord server on March 11, 2023. The link to it can be found here.
    • The "Tintifier" (as called in the website link) can be used to color in the blank tint image as seen at the start of the page.
