The Crossroads Lead to Crystal Caverns and Graphite Forest. It has the first rematchable trainer, making this also the first EXP & Money Hotspot.
Story Events[]
After walking through plains and defeating some trainers along the way, you walk up a plank, leading to the Crystal Caverns, to talk to Cassidy. You stop before the entrance of Crystal Caverns, and prepare to stop Craig's plans to ruin Graphite Lodge.
When you exit Crystal Caverns, after some small talk, TJ decides to leave for "special purposes". We are shown a cutscene where TJ asks how the Old Lady managed to get a needle stuck in a haystack. Afterwards, "Inari" bumps into TJ, but surprisingly doesn't seem to care much about it. Coincidentally, TJ just got his Opal Orb stolen, leading to TJ posting a Help Center request. Completing this allows you to find Maelzuri in the Crystal Caverns at a base 1/1200 encounter rate.

Trivia[]
- After Teneson uses Reragon to clear the fallen poles on Route 3, it is sent into constant rainfall in both the overworld and in battle. The rain persists until the first Key Guardian is defeated.
- The name "The Crossroads" could perhaps be a reference/callback to an iconic Roblox Brickbattle game, which has the same name, and was made by Roblox themselves around the initial launch of the website.
- The name may also relate to the fact that the short route connects several other Routes, similar to how the classic Crossroads map had different biomes all connected by one small plain.
- It has short, light green grass rather than tall grass generally seen in Routes.
- Kid Rodney only says two words, once before and after his battle, meaning he has the shortest dialogue out of any NPC in the entire game.
- The Old Lady NPC near the door to Graphite Lodge is based on a character from another one of wish_z's existing games, Hero Havoc.
- The Old Lady also says some things related to the storyline:
- She tells a tale of the origins of Maelzuri.
- During the Opal Orb Request, she mentions that she visited the "Doodle Ruins." She then mentions that some time after she visited it, DoodleCo excavated everything valuable from it.
- The Old Lady also says some things related to the storyline:
