Suzie

Suzie is a resident of von Sweetsville. She helps the player, TJ, and Quincy get into Von Sweets' factory

Story[]

Von Sweetsville & Chefs Valley[]

Suzie is first met in von Sweetsville. She is located at the town's Doodle Station. She then meets you and Quincy and tells that she can help us get into the factory. She then explains that her motive is that she wants to try an "ultimate candy" that Von Sweets is creating within the factory, in hopes that it will change her distaste for candy. Then, she tells the two to go to the town's Help Center, in order to meet another person who wants to get into the factory.

Inside the Help Center is TJ, who purposefully hits his head on a wall after seeing that the player has caught up to him. Regardless, he helps the player out by explaining his plan of stealing an employee's clothes in order to infiltrate the factory. Then, an employee walks into the building to deliver candy to the receptionist. Then, he leaves, announcing that his one-hour break has begun. Suzie, TJ, Quincy, and the player all split up to find the employee.

She appears again at Chef's Valley. She is seen with Quincy battling a Muncheez. She then approaches the player and asked the player to battle the Muncheez. After the battle, Inari appears and Suzie tells the player and Quincy that she is part of the shadow clan, who was responsible for many assassinations. After that she then tells the player to battle Pandishi in the pagoda. After the player defeats the Pandishi, she and Quincy head back to von Sweetsville.

Von Sweetsville Factory[]

Suzie, along with the player, Quincy and TJ who disguised himself as a von sweets goon talks to the secretary. After talking with him, the secretary allows them to enter but TJ is left behind to guard the area, this gives him zero chances to obtain the Second Key. Suzie, you and Quincy then try to solve various riddles given by the employees who work at the factory to meet up with von Sweets. After completing the puzzles, they finally get to meet up with the Key Guardian, von Sweets himself. Before you battle him, Suzie interrupts by asking von Sweets some questions. She asks about the “Ultimate Candy”, von Sweets then answers that the project was taken down years ago and so leading him to apologise to Suzie. After she learns the truth, she runs out of the factory. According to TJ, Suzie left the factory with a face full of tears.

Suzie is found once again at the town's Help Center, and explains to the player that she wants to join their group on the search for the Keys, and she may be able to find a cure to her condition. Then, she goes to see TJ in front of the factory. Once Quincy is located and battled, Suzie will proceed to Route 6 with the rest of the group.

DoodleCo Academy[]

At Route 6, the player sees TJ and Suzie trying to stop an argument between Quincy and a rebellious school student who later introduces herself as Erika. After Quincy asks her about the location of the third key, she gets defensive and refuses to help Quincy. Then, Erika heads back to the academy.

Throughout most of the events that take place at DoodleCo Academy, Suzie is located in the library. After the player obtains the third key in Arid Mines, she is at the academy's Help Center, and explains the fourth key may be at the Oasis. Then, she goes to Route 7 with the rest of the group.

Route 7 & The Oasis[]

Suzie, Quincy, and TJ are found outside the Oasis, being stopped by a police officer who explains that a DoodleCo Executive has paid to have the Oasis blocked off for two days, so she can get the fourth Key herself. However, Kentucky Smith appears and volunteers to help the group enter. Quincy waits with the rest of the group while the player goes to fight the Ghost Guard at the Ruined Castle.

Once the Player enters the Oasis, Suzie, Quincy, TJ, and Kentucky Smith are all waiting for them. Kentucky Smith then gives a short and brief introduction to the group of friends. He tells them that DoodleCo owns 30% of the Oasis while Oasis Energy owns 60% of it. Suzie questions the explorer and says that 60 + 30 only adds up to 90 and asks who owns the other 10%. Kentucky Smith then reveals that a man known as Zane apparently owns the other 10% of it. Kentucky Smith then leaves the group to talk. A man named Ziggy accidentally bumps into TJ before stealing his wallet. Portia then battles him to get TJ’s wallet back to use as an excuse to talk to Quincy. After Portia defeats the goon, she meets up with the Player, Suzie, and the others to give TJ back his wallet before Quincy then asks Portia schedule an appointment for the group to meet Ellen at the DoodleCo Office J.

When the player arrives at the DoodleCo Office J building, you meet up with Suzie and the others to talk to Ellen about Zane. Once everyone starts to discuss among themselves, it is then revealed that Ellen is also hunting for keys as well. TJ suggests an offer to her which she gleefully accepts. Ellen then tells him that they can talk about this offer in her office. Portia and Quincy also want to join TJ and Ellen to talk about this offer. After leaving the office, Suzie then tells us to meet her outside to discuss about what we should do next to find the fourth key. Ruffian Smalls ambushes Suzie outside of the office in an attempt to rob her. He then forces the player to battle him. Once defeated, a man known as Victor Solis appears to wants to talk at the Oasis Energy’s lobby.

Zane’s Hideout[]

After the player enters Oasis Energy’s lobby, they talk to both Victor Solis and Suzie. Victor Solis then reveals that Zane’s family is the owner of the Life Key and that Victor Solis learned the password to get into Zane’s Hideout. The code is “Zerzura“. Suzie then tells the player to meet her at Zane’s hideout. The player tells the guard the password, who lets Suzie and the player permission to enter the hideout. She tells the player to clear off a path to get into the middle of the hideout and battle Zane. After doing so, the player eventually meets Zane and battles him.

Once Zane is defeated, Suzie tells him to hand the player the key since he lost. Zane is confused at what she is saying but then reveals that Victor Solis lied to Suzie and the player. Victor Solis then comes to gloat on his success. He then tells the group that he stole the Life Key and Zerzura, a legendary doodle that helped the Ruined Castle at Route 7 flourish. Now, Zerzura’s power has been repurposed to help the Oasis flourish and grow into a successful city. Victor Solis also tells them that he has plans to destroy Zane’s hideout and to sell the key to Ellen before forcing Zerzura to leave the city into decay and force DoodleCo to hand the key back to him, leaving Victor Solis with Zerzura, the Miracle Key, and a bunch of money in hand. After bragging, he leaves the hideout. Suzie says that Zerzura must be freed in order to reveal the truth to DoodleCo. She then mentions that there is a way to enter Oasis Energy through the sewers.

Oasis Underground & Oasis Energy[]

After the player meets up with Zane outside of the entrance to the Oasis Underground, Zane asks where Suzie is at. Then, Suzie makes her appearance telling them that the reason that she was so late was because she was out shopping for all the essentials they need. One of them being explosives. Zane is shocked to hear that Suzie bought explosives, but she claims it is mandatory for their mission and that she won’t probably get a chance to use them ever again. Once entering the Oasis Underground, Ellen discusses business with TJ, Portia, and Quincy. After the cutscene ends, the player must traverse through the underground to find a captive Zerzura. A code is needed to free Zerzura so Suzie uses all of her explosives to explode a nearby vent, taking them to the inside of the Oasis Energy Laboratory. The player must find four computers to find all the pieces of the code.

Once the player finds the code, TJ and Quincy approach Zane, Suzie, and the player. The two have been hired by DoodleCo to obtain the Miracle Key, now armed with the artificial runestones of Owol and Hypnotl. TJ, having won a battle against Quincy, challenges the player. If TJ wins, he gets to free Zerzura and obtain the Miracle Key. After TJ is defeated, he and Quincy leave the laboratory. Suzie claims that they wasted precious time battling TJ. Once entering the Oasis Underground again and inputing the code, Victor Solis appears to tell the group that the code was to trick the player into initiating Project Zeta, forcing Zerzura to be subservient to all of his wishes and commands. Solis and the player battle. Once Victor Solis is defeated, he promises to make a deal with the player. If the player lets Solis go, he will give both the Miracle Key and a Tsunami Scroll as a reward for letting him escape. Suzie tells the player that they should accept it as Victor’s life is forever ruined, being forced to be on the run for the rest of his life. The player accepts and obtains the Miracle Key. After all of the chaos finally ends, Suzie tells the player that they should meet up with the others at the DoodleCo Office J.

Oasis Story Wrap Up[]

After the events at the Oasis Underground end, the player and their group meet with Zane, Portia, and Ellen at DoodleCo Office J. Ellen talks about how that she is annoyed that Quincy and TJ weren’t able to retrieve the Miracle Key for her and she is now going to be demoted to the fifth ranked DoodleCo Executive since a member of the ShadowClan retrieved a key for “Yami”. Portia, who also isn’t in a good mood, also demands for TJ and Quincy to give her the artificial runestones back. She then decides to let Quincy battle with his Hypnotl Antigen against the player. Once the player defeats Quincy, Portia decides to give the antigen to the player since she decides that they are more capable of wielding it. She still has to work on some technical issues with the Owol Artificial Runestone however.

Suzie explains that the player made a deal with Victor Solis in order to get the Miracle Key as it would be a much safer bet. Zane then chimes in as he asks if Solis was caught, but Suzie tells him that the authorities hasn’t found him yet. Ellen decides to make Zane the interim CEO of Oasis Energy since he knows the area very and that he deeply cared for it for a long time. Suzie asks if the Oasis wouldn’t run out of power since Zerzura has been freed, but Ellen replies swifly to her, telling Suzie that Zerzura simply gave even more energy and power to the Oasis than needed. She says that the next time she comes across with the player, she would have permission to use her team which also includes her powerful Prismare. After Ellen and Portia teleport to DoodleCo City, Quincy explains to TJ about why Portia lost her team for a few months. The reason why she is using a weaker team than her normal team was because she got in trouble with Teneson for creating the Quincy Fan Club. Soon enough, a mailman arrives to hand a letter to the player and their group.

TJ reads the letter which is from a resident of Icyridge called Anna who is the key guardian of the Frigid Key and is currently being threatened by rogue ShadowClan members. Quincy exclaims that he dislikes Icyridge while TJ continues on. She promises to give the key to the player and their group if they help her. Once TJ finishes reading the letter, Zane tells the group that they need to take a short hike from his hideout to Route 8 which would eventually lead to Icyridge. Quincy replies to Zane that Icyridge is full of backward savages who hate change and tells the group that his father would always be enraged whenever he would visit Icyridge, due to their residents not accepting his deal to turn it into a DoodleCo town.

Suzie questions about why the ShadowClan is acting strange, but TJ exclaims that it doesn’t matter to him as since he is a “Universal Anomaly” , the situation won’t bother him. This annoys Suzie as she tells TJ that she is starting to get sick of him acting like that as it is getting old for her. TJ tells the group that it is now time for him to leave as he believes he can get the Frigid Key all on his own. He leaves the building afterwards. Suzie then tells the group that she has heard of a Legendary Doodle with the power to change the climate of Icyridge. She and Quincy then head out to Zane’s hideout while Zane tells the player to come visit him at Oasis Energy once they obtain the Frigid Key.

Icyridge Story Wrap Up[]

Suzie comes clean that she has been working for a mysterious person who wanted to backstab Quincy because they promised a cure for Suzie's tastebuds, however Suzie stopped with that pan once the player obtained the Miracle key.

Despite appearing to be poor, Suzie still tries to be as helpful as she can towards other people.
