Stats are one of the core mechanics in the game. Stats can affect the usage and viability in the player’s team. There are 6 groups of stats, HP, Attack, Physical Defense, Magic Attack, Magic Defense and Speed. Traits may affect a Doodle’s original stats by increasing or decreasing their stats. Equipment may also alter a Doodle’s base stats. The star system also determines a Doodles stats. The lower amount of stars, the less Stats the Doodle will have. While a Doodle with more stars will experience an increase in Stats.

Example[]

Stat Name Stat
HP
100
Attack
100
Defense
100
Magical Attack

Magical Defense

Speed

Total

How it works[]

The game takes into account a Doodle's base stats, modifiers, and stars to calculate its stats. It will also take into account a Doodle's equipment when calculating Stats.

Base Stats[]

A Doodle’s base stats consists of 6 different groups of stat groups. HP, Attack, Defense, Magic Attack, Magic Defense, and Speed. A Doodle’s base stats are dependent on the Doodle, and the amount of Stars the Doodle has.

Modifiers[]

Modifiers are boosts or reductions in stats that will effect the final result of a Doodle's stats. They can either be 5%, 10%, and -5%, or -10%. You can identify these modifiers by color. 10% is blue, 5% is green, -5% is orange, and -10% is red. Modifiers are chosen by random, you can also change these modifiers by using Stat Candies. They will only affect the Doodle's second final calculation after the game has calculated all other instances. (besides from equipment)

Stars[]

Main Article: Stars.

Stars are randomly chosen whenever you encounter a Doodle or by using the roulette. Each star will change all of a Doodle's stats depending on its level. (Either rounded up or down). So for example if a Vipember is a 1 star and it is at level 10, this star will hold a +0.5 increase on all of its stats. If it were to be level 20 (assuming it hasn't evolved yet), that 1 star will have a +1 increase (20 / 10 = 2, 0.5 x 2 = 1). So if it were to have all of these conditions but now with 2 stars, it will have a +2 increase on all of its stats. (only +1 if it were to be lvl 10), and vice versa.

Equipment[]

Main Article: Equipment.

Equipment are items that players can equip onto their doodles or they can be found on a wild doodle's equipment page when you first catch it if you're lucky enough. They will give boosts and reductions in stats. For example, putting a bowlcut on a Geckgoo will add to its final calculations by 6 on its defenses and speed, but it will reduce the Geckgoo's coolness by 10 (coolness doesn't do anything for now and is mostly a joke stat).

Traits[]

Main Article: Traits.

Some traits can change a Doodle's stats at the start of a Battle.

Stat Group Usage[]

Different stats have different uses, this section will explain what they do.

HP[]

HP tells the user how many hitpoints their Doodle will have before taking damage or fainting to an attack strong enough to deal enough damage.

Attack[]

Attack tells the user how hard a Doodle can attack with its Physical Moves or how much damage it can deal with them.

Defense[]

Defense is the durability of the doodle and it tells the user how much damage a Doodle can take from Physical Moves. (Note: This stat is different than the Health stat, don't confuse them).

Magic Attack[]

Magic Attack tells the user how hard a Doodle can attack with its Magical Moves or how much damage it can deal with them.

Magic Defense[]

Magic Defense tells the user how much damage a Doodle will take from Magical Moves. (Note: Magic Defense is also different than Health and is similar to Defense).

Speed[]

Speed determines which Doodle will go first in battle. Those with a higher speed stat are bound to go first unless it uses a move with negative priority, the opponent boosts their speed in-battle, or by using a move with positive priority.
