Sketchvale

The small town of Sketchvale is the first known location the player has to explore, being the hometown of the player. It is to the south of Route 1 and to the east is the Doodle Laboratory.

Story Events[]

This is the starting point of your adventure, and you will be introduced to the main mechanics of the game here. First of all, you will be introduced to a cut scene which sets up the general story of the game. You will then get your beginner doodle in the Doodle Laboratory, where you meet Quincy. He is introduced as a rich and selfish child who attempts to take your doodle by fighting you after he gets impatient with the DoodleCo Professor.

Important Places[]

Mom’s House[]

The player's mom stands near a counter in her home, offering to heal the player's Doodles when spoken to. The Memento can be found on the second floor in a chest.

Rich Guy's House[]

A man dressed in gold-colored clothing can be found standing outside a house close to the bridge connected to Route 1. When spoken to, he will call Sketchvale one of the worst places to take a vacation in. He realizes that the player is from the town and gives them $1,000 cash.

Doodle Laboratory[]

Main article: Doodle Laboratory

The player is directed here after the introduction cutscene. Upon arriving, the DoodleCo Professor allows the player to choose one of four Doodles, namely Pupskey, Vipember, Tabbolt, and Skrappey. Additional starters can be purchased for 40 Robux when speaking to the Professor after obtaining the starter Doodle. Contrary to what the Professor says, there is actually no 20 minute cooldown for obtaining a new starter.

Note: Accepting this beginner Doodle means you verbally sign our waiver. If you get hurt hunting for keys, DoodleCo will not be held responsible. Using that screen, you can have the Doodle Machine create your partner! Which Doodle will you pick?"The player will then have to one of four doodles to be on their team and to continue to story. (Dialogue of the player choosing Vipember):"You picked Vipember? Not a bad choice! Vipember though they start hissy, will grow to be a very strong Doodle! Now lets test out your new Doodle in a Doodle Battle!" starts battle with his Tortles (Dialogue of the player choosing Pupskey): "You picked Pupskey? Not a bad choice! Pupskey are extremely loyal and our good champions. Now lets test out your new Doodle in a Doodle Battle!" starts battle with his Tortles (Dialogue of the player choosing Tabbolt) "You picked Tabbolt? Not a bad choice! Tabbolt are very easy to take care of, but be careful of its electrical shocks! Quincy's dialogue with Reginald plays out "Oh, no..." both Quincy and Reginald walk over to the DoodleCo Professor and the player "I am sorry, sir, but this machine can only be used once every 20 minutes..." Quincy then yells at the DoodleCo Professor to move out of the way at let him get his doodle himself and Reginald talks to the player and then Quincy tells Reginald that they should be leaving and the both of them leave to go onto their private jet "That was quite... well... interesting. Anyway, for the competition, it would be unwise to send you out on an adventure without the complimentary starter kit!" <You got 5 Basic Capsules and the Doodlepedia!> "You can use these capsules to capture Doodles that you encounter in the wild. Press the "Bag" option in battle! You can't trade or release this (the starter doodle's name the player did choose) because it is proof that you signed our safety waiver. However, if you want to purchase a starter that you can trade, feel free to talk to me. I think the next order of business is for you to go to Lakewood Town, which is the closest nearby town. Good luck!" the player then starts on their journey of becoming a Doodle Champion!	Inside the Doodle Laboratory
Quincy	Male	(At Doodle Laboratory): "I'M HERE FOR MY RARE DOODLE!" Reginald talks to Quincy "Whatever. We're only going to be in this cruddy town for the next hour." Reginald talks to Quincy again "Where is the professor, Reginald? Why didn't he come meet me at the door?" Reginald informs Quincy that the professor is busy with giving the player their doodle, so the both of them walk over to the player and the DoodleCo Professor "You're entering DoodleCo's key-finding competition? Don't make me laugh! A poor loser like you having any chance? Now move out of the way, loser. My dad owns 30% of this island." the DoodleCo Professor tells Quincy that he can't use the machine because it takes 20 minutes to print another doodle and now Quincy is mad hearing this news "I SAID GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Reginald tells Quincy it might not be a good idea to do this and decides to use his anger on the player after he finds out it actually does take 20 minutes to print another doodle "...I have to wait another 20 minutes for this... You know how people settling their arguments on this island? With a doodle battle! If I win, I get to keep your (the name of the starter doodle the player picked)!" starts battle with player (Dialogue of the player losing the battle): Quincy won't be able to steal the players starter doodle and the DoodleCo Professor tells Quincy he can't because the the player getting the doodle first fair an square and the game will continue (Dialogue of the player winning the battle): "...my special doodle lost? Impossible..." the player is handed $1,500 for winning! "...I lost..." Reginald telling Quincy that the private jet is ready to take him (Dialogue of Reginald and Quincy leaving the Doodle Laboratory): "This isn't over!" Quincy then leaves the Doodle Laboratory and is waiting for Reginald but is getting tired of waiting so he informs him that the both of them shall be leaving "REGINALD! What's taking you so long?" both Quincy and Reginald leave the Doodle Laboratory to go on the private jet	Inside the Doodle Laboratory before then leaving with Regnald
Reginald	Male	(Talking to Quincy): "Master Quincy, please refrain from screaming while in buildings." Quincy talks to Reginald "Very well, Master Quincy. I will prepare your father's private jet so we can leave immediately as soon as we're done here." Quincy is mad that he can't find the professor "It seems like the professor is preoccupied with someone else, Master Quincy." both Reginald and Quincy walk over to the player and the DoodleCo Professor, Quincy then talks to the player and then the DoodleCo Professor tells Quincy he has to wait 20 minutes to use the machine and Quincy is mad of hearing this news "Master Quincy... please be reasonable about this." Quincy then is mad that he has to wait 20 minutes to get his doodle and then decides to let his anger on the player with a doodle battle and then 2 scenario's will play out for Quincy's battle if the player loses or wins but the dialogue after will be the same (Dialogue of Reginald and Quincy leaving the Doodle Laboratory): "The private jet is ready, Master Quincy." Quincy then talks to the player and leaves "I am terribly sorry for my master's behavior. As apologies, I will tell you the next location of the closest key. The next key is near Graphite Lodge. The master is also in the key-finding competition, so we will probably see each other again." Quincy then tells Reginald that he better hurry up so that the both of them can leave this island	Inside the Doodle Laboratory before then leaving with Quincy

Trivia[]

The man in the gold suit mentions Ambasa City, where Reginald is stranded after the events at Graphite Temple. He also mentions meeting an uknown person named "Raziel" there.
