Roulette

The Roulette is a Mechanic in Doodle World where players can use their Gems or Tickets to obtain a random Doodle from a randomized set. Sets can be composed of any Doodle in the Doodlepedia. The Roulette mechanic can be reached by going to Menu -> Special Shop -> Roulette.

Overview[]

The Roulette displays a wheel to show what Doodle is obtained after spinning. Next to it, there is a 5x2 set under "Current Set" showing which Doodles can possibly be obtained. A set has 10 random Doodles, with each Doodle being either Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, or Legendary.

Players can also obtain Special Doodles in the Roulette. It is possible to tell a Doodle is special if its name is colored differently from the standard white text. Additionally, Hidden Traits and Misprints are marked by having a special icon in the top-left corner and top-right corner respectively of the Doodle's box. Tints and Sizes are not guaranteed in the roulette but may be added onto a Doodle obtained from the roulette, along with Hidden Traits, at their normal chances.

Yellow Text = Misprint.
Red Text = Skin.
Cyan Text = Hidden Trait.
Pink Text = 5 or 6 Stars.
Blue Text = Vintage Skin.

It is confirmed that there will be NO Roulette-Exclusive Doodles in the future, as more Doodles are added to Routes.

Spinning[]

Each spin of the Roulette costs 300 Gems. Doodles in the set have colored backgrounds to show their rarity. Each rarity has a different chance to show up, and the Roulette chooses a random Doodle from that rarity pool. Each Doodle has a 10% chance to be obtained, regardless of what rarity it is.

There are 3 guarenteed contents on the roulette:

There will always be at least 1 Epic.
There will always be at least 1 Hidden Trait.
There will always be at least 1 Skin. Unless the doodle chosen to have the skin only has Prestige at the moment.

Players can only spin 3 times on a single set. If the player spins the Roulette 3 times, the option to Spin is replaced by the option to get a new set, which replaces the Current Set with 10 random Doodles. This means the only way to get all 10 Doodles of a set is to purchase the entire set for R$1,000, which also refreshes the set on purchase.

New Sets[]

If the player decides that they do not wish to spin the Current Set (for example, it doesn't have the Doodles that they want), they can get a new set replacing the Current Set with 10 random Doodles. The player can do this 10 times for free before they have to pay 50 Gems for a new set. Every time the player gets a new set, the spins for the Current Set goes back to 3.

Doodles in the Roulette have 5 different tiers, which appear as different background colors on the roulette wheel. The tiers are:

Uncommon - 30%
Rare - 18%
Epic - 9%
Legendary - 1%

Tints

Roulette tint - 1%
Animated roulette tint - 0.3%

These rarities are the chance a Doodle has to appear on the Roulette, NOT the chance to obtain it. Every doodle on the Roulette has a 10% chance to be obtained.

Tsumo and Hopogard is currently the only obtainable Doodles that cannot appear on the Roulette.
Before v.0.5.0d, there were only 3 free new sets and the price to refresh sets would gradually become more expensive the more you bought. Starting at 0 Gems before going to 50 gems it would then go up to 100, then 150, 200, and stop at 300. There's also no guaranteed skin every set.
Due to gambling laws in South Korea, Belgium, The United Kingdom, Australia, and the Netherlands, The Roulette has been disabled in those countries.
- When access to Roblox was blocked in Turkey, roulette was disabled for Turkey.
  - In order not to bypass the ban by using VPN, roulette cannot be used when VPN is used.^{[Citation Needed]}
During 2022, the Legendary category was previously called the "Mythic" category.
Levels Doodles obtained from Roulette are calculated differently based on your current level cap - Roulette doodles you obtained with no Key are at Level 5, Level 13 at 1st Key, 21 with 2nd Key, with the 3rd Key the level cap at roulette is 29, with 4th Key is 37, with the 5th Key are 45, with 6th Key is 53, with 7th Key are the level 61, with 8th Key level 69, for 9th Key is level 77, with the 10th the last Key is the max of 85.
- Before Von Sweets' Factory Update, the level of roulette was changed, the level with no Keys are 10 with the 1st Key being 15, and level 20 in the 2nd Key update
There is a very small chance a skin will not appear in roulette. This is due to some doodles not having any skins or their only skins are event limited or prestige.
There is a very small chance that a doodle from the roulette you obtain has a tint. Multi-tints are also possible.
There is a very small chance that multiple of the same skin can appear on the same roulette set.
Some skins are exclusive to the roulette. However, unlike the skins that appear every 100 new sets, these cannot be seen in the Doodlepedia.
There is a very small chance to get a "God set", Meaning full star count, tint, skin on every doodle. These are very rare.
