Move List[]

A move is a skill a Doodle can use when in battle. A Doodle can learn and employ between one and four moves at times of reaching a specific level, or by using a scroll. When in battle, a Doodle can use only one move each turn. It should be noted that no single Doodle is able to learn every move; indeed, each Doodle has a predetermined set of moves that they can learn, which is influenced by its type and concept. As a Doodle levels up, it will have a range of moves to learn and to unlearn, from which the player must make a decision. Evolved Doodles will generally have a larger pool of moves, but those which do not have any further evolution can also expand their existing pool of moves by using scrolls. Scrolls enable a Doodle to learn a unique move which it may have otherwise not been able to naturally obtain.

Types of moves[]

There are three types of moves: physical, magical and support moves. Of the three, physical and magical moves directly inflict damage, whereas support moves do not. Support moves include moves that change the weather, inflict status effects, or moves that raise or lower the stats of a Doodle, among other effects. Physical moves deal damage depending on the difference between the Attack stat of the attacking Doodle and the Defense stat of the opposing Doodle. Likewise, Magical moves inflict damage depending on the difference between the Magical Attack stat of the attacking Doodle and the Magical Defense stat of the opposing Doodle.

If more than one Doodle attempts to use a move in the same turn, the order in which moves are used is determined by the Speed stat and whether the move in question has priority. The Accuracy stat affects whether the move will hit or miss the opposing Doodle. Damage dealt by a move is determined by its power, among other variables. Some damaging moves have additional effects, such as being able to inflict status conditions. The number of times each move can be used is restricted by a number value which, if depleted, cannot be used any further. However, this number will vary depending on the move.

Moves learnt previously or from previous levels that are forgotten can be re-learnt from the move relearner in Graphite Lodge, Social Park, or DoodleCo Printing Facility.

Careless Assault Physical The user, not caring about defense, charges into the target. This hurts the user a lot. User takes 25% of damage in recoil. 120 100% 10
Cauterizing Smash Physical The user focuses any burnt areas of the target. This attack does triple damage to burned Doodles, but cures them of burn. 50 100% 20
Center of Attention Support The user becomes the center of attention, making them the prime target for all the enemy's attacks. Will automatically fail if used in succession. This move is primarily for Double Battles. -- -- 20

Chemical Breath Magical The target is hit with a blast of chemical breath. This move's type and effect changes depending on what Doodle is using it. 80 100% 10
Claw Swipes Physical Swipes target. This attack hits 2-5 times. 20 90% 15
Climate Shot Magical The user gathers particles from the weather to form a projectile, and then blasts it of the target. The typing of this move depends on the current weather. 90 100% 15
Coil Support The user coils up. This boosts its Attack and speed stats as well as its accuracy. -- 100% 20
Combo Support Support The user gets ready to combo with its ally. The ally does 50% more damage on its next attack. This move is primarily for Double Battles. -- -- 20
Crit Up Support The user boosts all allies' crit chance for 5 turns. Boosts critical hit ratio by 2x for the entire team. Stacks with other critical hit boosting moves/items, but not itself. -- -- 10
Crocodile Tears Support The user cries up a storm. This lowers the target's magic defense. -- 100% 20
Cutesy Glare Support The user glares at the target with a cute look. It greatly lowers the target's attack. -- 100% 20
Determination Support This doodle fills themselves up with determination, ensuring they survive any attack used this turn with at least 1 HP. This move's chance of failing rises if used in succession. -- -- 10
Disarm Physical The user disarms the target, removing the target's held item. 60 100% 10
Dispose Physical The user disposes of any hazards on their side of the field. 50 100% 10
Do Nothing Support The user does nothing. (Given to Doodles who lose one of their moves WITHOUT a replacement being given) . -- -- 10
Entertain Support The user entertains the target with various means. This greatly lowers their attack. -- 90% 30
Equality Magical This attack move cuts down the target's health to equal the user's health. -- 100% 5
Final Gambit Physical The user, mustering up its remaining energy, does one of the most powerful strikes in their aresenal, fainting afterwards. 250 100% 5
Focus Support The user focuses, enabling it to hit its next move regardless of the target's evasiveness. Also enables Basic and Melee-type moves to hit Spirit types. -- 100% 15

FTL Assault Physical The user barrages the target with strikes that are faster than light itself. This move always goes first. +1 Priority. 80 100% 5
Glancing Blow Physical The user does a non-lethal strike at the target. The target is left with at least 1 health. If this is used on a doodle with 1HP, it will deal no damage. 40 100% 40
Harden Support The user hardens its body, boosting its defense. -- 100% 40

Loyalty Physical This full-power attack grows more powerful the more the user likes its Trainer. The power is capped to 90. Varies 100% 10
Marking Bite Physical A bite that's main purpose is to mark the target. This attack marks the target if it hits. Inflicts Marked onto the target. 80 100% 20
Mock Charge Support The user fakes a charges at full speed at the target, scaring them back to their party and sending out a random party member. This move always attacks last. -- -- 10
Mood Swing Physical The user lashes out with emotional force. After dealing damage, a random effect happens. 100 100% 10
Multi-Hit Physical The user hits the enemy multiple times. This move hits 2-5 times. 15 90% 15
Multi-Smack Physical Smacks the target repeatedly. This attack hits 2-5 times. 20 90% 15
Panhandle Support The user begs for money. Only works one time per battle. -- -- 10
Party! Support The user convinces the opposing team to party with it. This creates an opening, lowering their defense and magical defense. -- 100% 20
Patchwork Support The user uses thread to tie up the foe and trip them, drastically lowering their speed. -- 100% 5
Pirouette Magical The user spins and attacks. This attack always does 40 damage. -- 100% 15
Preparation Support The user prepares its next attack. The next time the user attacks, it does more damage. The user's next attack deals 50% more damage. -- -- 30
Protect Support The user protects itself from the next attack. Fails automatically if used in succession. +6 Priority. -- -- 10
Purl Stitch Physical The user attempts to stitch the opponent together. This move hits 2-4 times. 30 90% 5
Quick Strike Physical The user attacks quickly. This move always goes first. +1 Priority. 40 100% 15
Relief Support The user patches up the target, healing them by half their health. This move is primarily for Double Battles. -- -- 10
Roll Physical The user rolls into the enemy, doing damage. 55 100% 15
Sad Zone Support The user makes the target sad. It lowers the target's defense and magical defense. Lowers the target's defense and magic defense by 1 stage. -- 90% 20
Scapegoat Support The user creates a training dummy for itself using some of its HP. The substitute serves as the user's scapegoat, taking damage for them. User loses 25% of their HP to create a scapegoat. If the damage received by the scapegoat exceeds 25% of the user's HP, the scapegoat fades. Makes the user immune to most status inflicting or stat lowering support moves while the scapegoat is active. -- -- 10
Scram Support The user runs away to their tamer to switch places with a party doodle. This move always goes last. -1 Priority. -- -- 10
Screech Support The user makes an extremely annoying sound at the target. This greatly lowers their defense. -- 90% 30
Shellshock Magical The user attacks using its shell. Has a 10% chance to paralyze. 60 100% 15
Shield Bash Physical User bashes the target with its shield or armor. This attack uses the user's defense stat to calculate damage. 75 100% 10
Slash Physical A basic slash attack. 70 100% 10
Smack Physical Smacks target with its body or hands. 40 100% 30
Smokescreen Support Covers the user in a smokescreen, boosting its evasion. Boosts evasion by 1 stage. -- 100% 25
Squeak Support The user squeaks, trying to gain sympathy points. The opposing team's attack are lowered. -- 100% 40
Starbreaker Physical This move does more damage the less stars the user has. The base power of this move is 20, increasing by 20 for every star below 6 the user has (Max 150BP). Varies 100% 10
Subterfuge Physical The user launches a surprise attack and makes the target flinch. It only works on the first turn each time the user enters battle. +2 priority. 30 100% 10
Swagger Dance Support The user does a strange dance, increasing its defense, magic defense, and speed. -- 100% 20

Tail Smack Physical Smacks target with its tail. 60 90% 15
Tourniquet Support Heals all your party's status effects. -- -- 5
Trap Support The user traps the target and prevents them from escaping for 3-5 turns. Traps the target for 3-5 turns unless the user switches out. -- 100% 10
Tri-Elemental Slash Physical Once this move is used, this move's type turns into a Fire, Ice, or Spark-type move, cycling through them. 90 100% 10
Wildcard Support After using this move, the user uses nearly any random move. -- -- 15
Wrap Physical User wraps its body from the target, preventing them from escaping. Traps and inflicts 6% of the opponents HP for 3-5 turns. Trap and damage over time for 3-5 turns, ends if the user swaps out. 30 100% 20
Yarn Snare Support The user sets up a yarn snare on the opponent's side. If any Doodle gets sent out onto the yarn snare, the snare lowers its attack. This move is an entry hazard. -- -- 20

Fireball Magical Shoots a fire ball at the enemy. Has a 10% chance to burn. 85 100% 10
Firebolt Magical Shoots a weak fire bolt at the enemy. Has a 10% chance to burn. 40 100% 25
Firecracker Physical The user turns its body into a literal firework. It hurts the user for the same amount of damage that it does. 85 100% 15
Flame Rattle Magical The doodle shoots a flame from its rattle, doing damage. Does even more damage if the target is frozen or burned. Damage doubles if the target is frozen or burned. 50 100% 10
Flame Shield Support The user summons fire shields around them, protecting them from attacks. If a doodle hits the user with a magic attack, the shied reacts by shooting a Firebolt back. -- -- 10
Flames of Gehenna Magical The user summons flames from Gehenna, heavily causing harm to the target. Causes damage to the target at the end of each turn until they switch out.

Pyroclast Magical The user hurls a blast of molten rock at the target. The blast is fiercer, doing double damage, if the user isn't holding an item. 55 100% 10
Raging Bonfire Physical A rampaging bonfire attack. It hurts the user a little bit. User receives 1/4 of the damage in recoil. 120 100% 5
Sizzle Magical This attack has a 20% chance to burn. If the target is Food-type, this attack has a 100% chance to burn. 60 100% 10
Soulfire Magical Burn the target's soul. If the target is cursed, do double damage. 70 100% 10

Hydro Burst Magical The user launches its most powerful Water attack. Has a 20% chance to lower the target's magic defense. 120 80% 10
Rainmaker Support The user performs a ritual, summoning rain to the battlefield. This replaces any other weather effects. Causes it to rain for 3-5 turns. -- -- 10
Rapid Current Support The user summons a current to gains speed. If it's raining, drastically increase its speed instead. -- -- 20
Rip Current Physical The user unexpectedly rips the current, causing damage. This move is certain to strike first. +1 priority. 40 100% 15
Rust Magical Water is sprayed at the target. This attack is super-effective on Metal-Types. 60 100% 15
Siren Song Magical The user sings an old sailor-tune with malicious intent, doing damage and having a 10% chance to put the target to sleep. 70 100% 10
Storm Heal Support The user uses the power of the ocean to heal itself by a third of their health. If it is raining, heals them by half instead. -- -- 10
Swamp Support The user turns the field into a swamp, causing grounded Doodles to lose speed every turn for 5 turns. -- -- 5
Tainted Water Magical Summons a wave of dirty water at the opposing team that can poison(20% chance). If it's raining, this attack always poisons. 80 100% 10

Leaf Sap Magical Shoots a nutrient-sucking leaf at the target. Restores the user for half the damage done. 40 100% 20
Leaf Tornado Magical The user summons a tornado with leaves, doing massive damage. This greatly lowers the attacker's magic attack. 140 90% 5
Life Roots Support The user plants its life-healing roots in the ground. At the end of each turn, it heals health. Heals 12% of the user's HP each turn. -- -- 10
Life Sap Magical Saps the life of the target. Restores the user for half the damage done. 90 100% 10
Lilypad Leap Magical The user attacks the target, and then quickly returns back to its owner to switch places with a party Doodle. If the Doodle that switches in is Lilivian or Gobblegoo, give them a stat boost. 90 100% 5
Nature's Guardian Support The user is protected by a nature's guardian. If a Doodle hits them with a contact move, has a 50% chance boost all of their stats. 50% chance to boost all stats by 1 stage when hit by a contact move. -- -- 10
Needle Spike Physical The user shoots spikes at the target. 50 100% 20
Paralysis Spores Support The user scatters spores that paralyzes the target. Plant and spark types are immune. -- 90% 15
Parasitic Seeds Support The user sends parasitic seeds at the target. At the end of each turn, those seeds steals health from the target. Target loses 6% of their HP each turn, and the user restores HP based on the target's HP lost. -- 90% 10
Plant Sap Magical Uses plants to sap the life of the target. Restores the user for half the damage done. 65 100% 15
Pumpkin Spin Physical The user spins around inside a pumpkin. This clears hazards on their side of the field. 50 100% 10
Rage Spores Support The user scatters spores that causes the target to rage. -- 90% 15
Sakura Blast Magical A spiral of cherry blossoms strikes. Has a 20% chance to confuse the target. 75 90% 15

Slash and Burn Physical The user uses a leaf as a weapon, sets it on fire, and then attacks. Has a 30% chance to burn. 80 100% 10

Lightning Kicks Physical The user rapidly kicks the target while infused with lightning. This move hits 2-5 times. 25 95% 10
Pylons Support The user summons electrical pylons on the opponent's side. If any doodle gets sent out, they get shocked by the pylons, losing some health. Pylons do damage equivalent from a same level Doodle with 80 Base Magic Attack using a magical 40 power spark type move (caps at 20% damage). Earth-types are immune. -- -- 20
Quad Strike Magical Strikes the target with multiple lightning bolts. This attack hits 4 times. 25 80% 10
Recharge Physical The user uses a physical appendage to steal life force in the form of electricity from the target. Restores the user for half the damage done. 75 100% 10
Shock Magical Shocks the target. Has a chance to paralyze. Has a 10% chance to paralyze. 50 100% 25
Shock Therapy Support The user shocks themselves into healing a third of their health. If they have a status, heals them by half instead. -- -- 10

Commanding Blow Physical The user delivers a crushing strike backed by pure authority, frightening the target into retreating back to their party and a random teammate takes their place. This move always goes last. 60 90% 10
Crunch Physical User crunches the target. Has a 20% chance to lower the target's defense. 80 100% 10
Double Bite Physical The user chomps on the target twice in quick succession. This move hits 2 times. 40 90% 15

Ferocious Onslaught Physical The user repetedly barrages the target with beastly bits and/or scratches. This move hits 2~4 times 30 90% 10

War Cry Support The user shouts an almighty war cry, boosting their attack and speed. -- -- 20
