Misprint Sparkle
Misprints are a kind of Doodle Cosmetic. They are rare recolors of Doodles that are purely cosmetic. The base chances of encountering a Misprint without any modifiers are 1/4000. There are, however, various ways to boost the chances of finding a Misprint.
2x Misprint boosts from the Special Shop, the two Misprint Trinkets, completing all tasks for an evolution line and chaining can all increase your chances of finding one.
Boosts, Misprint Trinkets and evolution line tasks reduce the denominator while chaining is the numerator.

Chaining increases the numerator by 1 for every 5 knock outs:
- Broken if you K.O. a different Doodle. (Unless you have a 50+ chain already)
- Broken if you capture a Doodle.
- This is multiplied by 5 for Legendary Doodles.
A given example: "If you have the Misprint Trinket it makes it 1/2000, and then a 100 chain makes it 21/2000 chance to encounter one."
Trivia[]
- There are two NPC tamers with a Misprint, as the first Doodle Mister Riffraff sends out is a Misprint Riffrat named Number Four, and the first Doodle in a researcher's party in the Oasis Underground is a Misprint Klydaskunk.
- Prior to April 14th, 2022, the Misprint symbol had a smaller outline.
- By going to a certain house in Lakewood Town and showing a Misprint, the player will get a "Misprint" title and 500 gems.
- Misprints found in the wild will always have at least 4 stars.
- Due to the Printing malfunction update, Misprint Doodles with under 4 stars can be obtained.
- Every second week of a month, Misprint chances will rise 1.5x faster.
