Lost Forest Has Event Content

This page has content that cannot be obtained/accessed through normal means, as they are event exclusive.

Event(s) Included: Beachgoer 2023 Content, Summer 2024 Content

The Lost Forest is an event-exclusive location in the Doodle World's Beachgoer 2023 event. It is a green, foggy, maze-like area filled with grass, hedges, rocks, and towering trees. Players would visit the Lost Forest to find lost NPCs to fulfill quests found on Beach Bay's Summer Questboard in order to gain Sand Dollars.

Introduction[]

When entering Beach Bay for the first time, "Inari", after giving the player a rundown of the Beachgoer Event, informs the player that the Lost Forest only exists for the sole purpose of fulfilling quests; that there is no other purpose for it there and exploring it is pointless.

When entering the Lost Forest for the first time, a text box will appear telling the player how to complete the quest, and also that you have the ability to reset your character to return to the maze's entrance, should you become too lost.

Quests[]

When obtaining quests from the Summer Questboard, occasionally, S.O.S. quests with rarities ranging from Rare and upwards would appear, in which an NPC would recruit the player's help due to them getting lost in the Lost Forest. The NPCs in question, when in the Lost Forest, would be marked by a yellow rhombus to indicate their location to the player.

The reward for traversing and finding the NPCs would be a varying range of Sand Dollars (Beach Bay's event currency), with an absolute minimum of 12.

Trivia[]

  • The NPCs that participate in the S.O.S. quests are easter eggs, including Doodle World developers and official Discord moderators.
  • Upon the Beachgoer Event's initial launch, the yellow rhombus indicating the NPC's location in the forest did not appear, therefore making the search to find the target NPCs in the maze extremely difficult and basically impossible.
  • Prior to a fix, half of Lost Forest required difficult parkour to access, which was nearly impossible to complete on mobile. This meant that about half of all S.O.S quests were unreachable unless this parkour was performed.
