Lakewood Tunnel is a short tunnel that is located to the southeast of Lakewood Town, and to the northeast of Lakewood Sewer. The entrance is located behind the Doodle Center in Lakewood Town. No wild Doodles can be encountered in Lakewood Tunnel, but it is used as part of the Story Quest to infiltrate Riffraff's Lair.

Story Events[]

On the player's first visit to the tunnel, there are two Doodle tamers named Number Two and Number Three protecting the entrance to Lakewood Sewer. After meeting Mister Riffraff, the player can return to the tunnel with TJ, who explains that they must be Riffraff's lackeys. The player will only have to fight Number Three while TJ fights Number Two before being granted access into the sewers.

After obtaining the third Key, Rufus and the DoodleCo engineer who was taken by Riffraff earlier on are found next to the garbage truck blocking the other end of the tunnel. Rufus introduces himself as the head of DoodleCo's Adventure Unit, a team that specializes in locating the keys. Rufus explains that while the player was obtaining their keys, he managed to obtain the Forest Key from a bandit in Nevarian Outskirts. The engineer tells the player and Rufus that it will take a while for the garbage truck to be cleared, as people will have to come over from the Landfill. He suggests that the two of them should relax in Riffraff's Lair to pass the time.
