Lakewood Town

Lakewood Town is the second accessible town in Doodle World, and the first to have a Doodle Station. It is located to the North-East of Route 2. To the East of Lakewood Town is Route 3.

Story Events[]

After completing Route 3 for the first time, Riffraff takes the DoodleCo engineer to his lair, TJ leads the player back to Lakewood Town infront of the entrance to Lakewood Tunnel.

The subway... lets you safely travel to other cities. Too bad it's in complete disarray and it seems like DoodleCo isn't in a rush to repair it. I assume it will be fixed eventually. This is called the Doodle Station! These types of buildings will be one the most important buildings on your adventure. You can buy items, recover your Doodles' health, and access your Doodle storage here! Come with me, I'll show you inside." <You follow TJ inside the Doodle Station.> "This is the shop where you can buy items! The shop's stock will get updated frequently during your adventure. This is the Doodle Storage! Any extra doodles you capture will be put in here. Modern technology sure is convenient! And lastly: this is where you can get your Doodles healed! Just talk to the doctor here. Hi, Rebecca." the doctor then talks to TJ "I'm guiding this new tamer around town. Can you tell us what you do?" the doctor then informs the player what she does "Whenever you lose, you will rush to the last station you've healed at." the tv turns on for the news "...More breaking news? Let's tune in." the tv continues the news to the player "That's good to hear. This island has been affected by so many thunderstorms and hurricanes as of late. It's hard to find keys for the Key Hunt when routes are blocked off by debris. Wait, you're doing the Key Hunt too? We will probably meet each other again, because I'm doing the Key Hunt too! Remember to heal your Doodles by talking to the Doctor! Goodbye!" TJ then leaves the Doodle Station to then catch up with the player in Route 2, to then find out that Mister Riffraff has taken the DoodleCo Engineer with him to his hideout in the Lakewood Sewer (TJ after the news he heard of the player in Route 2, comes back here to tell the player about the Lakewood Sewer): "This is the Lakewood Tunnel. It used to connect us to the rest of this island, but it's not used that much anymore. You said Riffraff went here with the DoodleCo employee? That can only mean one thing: Riffraff is in the tunnel sewer somewhere. Why would anyone be willing to live in a sewer...? I know he's hiding and all, but still. Riffraff is a small-time criminal, but he still has avoided the clutches of DoodleCo. He will be tough to take down. Be fully prepared. Let's go in." TJ then goes Lakewood Tunnel to go look for Mister Riffraff, and the player then goes in to catch up to TJ	During the cutscene telling the player about the town.
Doctor (Rebecca)	Female	(The Doctor talking to TJ and the player): "Hi. TJ! Glad to see you again!" TJ then asks her what her job is and she tells the player about it "Of course! I am incensed to operate on the machine behind me. This machine uses DoodleCo technology to restore your Doodles' health. Just talk with me or any doctor and we will help you out." (The player asking the Doctor to heal their Doodles): "Hello, and welcome to DoodleCo Pharmacy™! I can heal your Doodles to full health using this machine. Shall I heal your Doodles?" (Dialogue of the player picking yes): "Okay, I'll take your Doodles for a few seconds." puts the players doodles in the machine "Now, I have to refill the ink..." she then refills the ink in the machine "Alright, time to turn on the machine!" turns on the machine "All done! DoodleCo Ceo Charles	Male	"BREAKING NEWS!" TJ then interrupts (The Headline on the television): BREAKING NEWS: DoodleCo pledges to send aid to areas affected by natural disasters. Charles then has his speech on the tv "For the past month, our island has been ravaged by natural disasters. The last lightning has shut off power to a large portion of the island. I say no more! I am sending the finest DoodleCo personnel to the affected areas. We will make this island the finest place to live. This is DoodleCo's promise!"	During a cutscence where he can be seen on the television inside the Lakewood Town Doodle Station.

Rouge and Bleu introduce themselves to the player "You probably want this chest next to me, right? If you can defeat all 3 of us in a row, it's yours. Are you prepared to fight us?" (Dialogue of the player picking yes): "Rouge, you fight them first." Rouge then battles the player and then talks to the player after being defeated. Bleu then talks and battles the player after his defeat "Don't worry about it, Bleu. Your older brother got this. I am the strongest for a reason!" starts battle with his Nibblen, next his Rosebug, then his Larvennae, and finally his Borbo (Dialogue of the player losing the battle): "Predictable." you handed out $1,360 to Triplet Noir... (Dialogue of the player winning the battle): "The chest is yours." rewards the player $2,000 and then talks to them after "I can't believe it. You defeated the triples of Lakewood... Triplet Rouge	Male	"And I'm second-in-command, Rouge!" a few seconds later... "This is the part where you introduce yourself, Bleu." Bleu introduces himself and Noir talks again (Dialogue of the player picking yes): Noir talks to the player "Okay, boss. Get ready for this!" Rouge sends out his Rosebug and then his Agotaod (Dialogue of the player losing the battle): Unknown (Dialogue of the player winning the battle): "You're going to lose to Bleu, I can feel it." hands the player $600 "You're pretty tough! The next fight will be even more difficult!" A few seconds later... "Psst, Bleu, that means it's your turn!"
Triplet Bleu	Male	"sorrysorrysorrysorry... I mean, I'm Bleu!" Noir then talks to the player and so does Rouge and Rouge battles the player and then talks to the player. He then has to remind Bleu it's his turn to battle them. "imsopatheticpleaseforgiveme... I-it's my turn to fight!" Bleu sends out his Larvennae and then his Muttish (Dialogue of the player losing the battle): Unknown (Dialogue of the player winning the battle): "Noooooo!" hands the player $1,000 for winning and then talks to the player after his defeat "nonononononono..."

Trivia[]

Even though TJ says that the bike shop is where the player can get the bike, they don't actually get one here and instead get it a DoodleCo Academy from completing a NPC's task from the Help Center.
- Also during TJ's chat with the player, he calls the doctor Rebecca, but her name doesn't change and is called Doctor.
- When the player comes back in order to meet back up with TJ, the player is then teleported to him where he can be seen by the Lakewood Sewer entrance.

Kid Vert, Triplet Noir, Triplet Rouge, and Triplet Bleu when interacting with the player are named Vert, Noir, Rouge, and Bleu when they are talking to the player but during their battle are called Kid Vert, Triplet Noir, Triplet Rouge, and Triplet Bleu for unknown reasons.
This is the only area in the game where the player can get the Spectator Camera from Camera Todd's game.
The NPC with the Purple shirt is the first NPC in the game where her doodle, Ruffire is shown.
- The second and third being TJ and Number Two found during their battle in the Lakewood Sewer.
