Key Items

The Key Items tab in the Backpack.

Key Items are a special category of permanent items that players can obtain once in-game, and serve various important purposes such as unlocking new mechanics or streamlining/altering existing ones. A given Key Item's effects may either be automatic or require manual interaction. After obtaining a Key Item, it cannot be disposed of, sold, traded away, or given to a Doodle to hold. Most Key Items are unlocked during the story or regular gameplay, but others are given after purchasing gamepasses.

	Hidden Trait Trinket	You are more likely to meet Doodles who have their hidden trait.
	Mythical Trinket	You are more likely to meet Doodles of Legend.
	Worn-Out Mythical Trinket	You are more likely to meet Doodles of Legend. However, because it's worn out, the effect isn't as potent.
	Double Money Trinket	Allows you to get double money from tamer battles and help center requests.
	Misprint Trinket	You are more likely to meet Misprinted Doodles.
	Worn-Out Misprint Trinket	You are more likely to meet Misprinted Doodles. However, because it's worn out, the effect isn't as potent.
	Training Helper	If this item is on, every Doodle in your party gets experience in each battle.
	Magnifying Glass	Allows you to view wild Doodle's stats.
	Skin Trunk	This leather briefcase lets you see all your un-equipped Skins.
	Equipment Case	A case that holds all your equipment.
	Spectator Camera	This camera allows you to spectate other people's battles.
	Tally Counter	Allows you to see your current Doodle chain.
	Opal Orb	An Opal orb containing the soul of Craig. Also allows you to encounter Maelzuri in the Crystal Caverns.
	Memento	A memento from the good old days.
	Data Chip	A data chip containing the blueprint of a mythical Doodle.
	Pocket Storage	Access your Doodle Storage remotely.
	Pristine Axe	An axe used to chop down trees and wooden doors.
	Chain Preserver	Stores a chain for later use.
	Chain Preserver+	Stores many chain for later use.
	Ticket Case	This ticket trunk lets you see all your tickets.
	Tint Palette	Holds your collected ink bottles.
	Offline Tickets	Allows the printer to generate tickets while not playing Doodle World.
	+1 Copier	Gain a second copier
	Runic Island Identifier	Allows you to easily identify which Runic Island rooms have runestones, legendaries, and misprinted Doodles on them. The doors will be golden if one or more of the listed above is in the room.
	Fishing Rod	Lets you fish at nearly any body of water. Etched near the bottom of the handle, it says "Love, Elaine".
	Doodle Scanner	Use this while in wild Doodle Grass to encounter Doodles repeatedly.
	Hopolatte Ribbon	Using this item toggles your ability to encounter Hopolatte in wild encounters.
	Runecase	Holds your collected runestones.
