Graphite Maze

Graphite Maze is a maze-like route accessed through Graphite Forest. There is a button puzzle here that leads to Sky Island where you will encounter Nimbus, the first Key Guardian to obtain the first Key.

Story Events[]

The player will arrive at the maze, with Portia and TJ beside the red button. TJ hints that the button has to do something with the maze. The player then needs to push buttons around the map to reach the portal. When you reach the portal, Portia and TJ will show up. A small conversation will happen, and Portia then decides to enter first. TJ then decides to challenge the player to a tamer battle, saying whoever wins will go into the portal to obtain the first key. After the player wins the battle, TJ says that he will come back. The player then enters the portal into the Graphite Temple.

Insect Taffy

First, push the red button to your right, and go up the ramp that appears in front of you. Next, walk up to the blue button, push it, and walk across the blue bridge. After that, walk up to the yellow button and push it. Then, walk across the yellow bridge, walk past the blue button, go up the yellow ramp, and press the red button. Next, jump onto the yellow button's platform, and walk across the red bridge to the other yellow button's platform. Go pass the other yellow button and go up the red ramp. Lastly, you will see two chests. The left one is the one that contains the Insect Taffy.

Plant Taffy

Follow the instructions above, and open the right chest to obtain the Plant taffy.

Trivia[]

After Teneson uses Reragon to clear the fallen poles on Route 3, it is sent into constant rainfall in both the overworld and in battle. The rain persists until the first Key Guardian is defeated.
TJ owns a triple-tinted Boulduo.
