Graphite Forest

Graphite Forest is accessed through The Crossroads. It's a large area that functions as a route with some new doodles and chests scattered around the location. It connects to the Graphite Maze through a wooden door that can be opened or broken via story events.

Story Events[]

When you come to the end of Graphite Forest, you find TJ and Portia looking at a huge and heavy wooden door, they ask you to find a lumberjack to see if he can destroy the door for you to go to Graphite Forest. When you find the lumberjack, he tells you there's an axe inside a hidden chest. After you find it, you destroy the door and access Graphite Maze, when a NPC called "Bodybuilder" tells you to not destroy the door and just let him open it for you, since that door has been part of his childhood. You have two options: destroy the door or let the NPC open it (affects karma). After choosing one of the options, you can access Graphite Maze.

Pristine Axe	First, walk forward until you find a bridge. Next, turn towards the waterfall on the left. Then, jump up the waterfall and interact with the chest to obtain the item.
Air Taffy	First, walk forward until you find a bridge. Right after crossing the bridge, locate two vines hanging off of a cliff on the right. Walk into them to climb up the vine. Then, climb the vine on the next cliff until you reach a tree with a heart and a chest next to it. In order to reach the chest, jump over the two bushes and go around the tree to bypass the invisible wall.
5 Striped Capsules	First, walk forward until you find a bridge. Turn left before the bridge towards the waterfall, and then take another left to go up the slope with patches of tall grass. From there, turn right to see the chest on the cliff to the right. To get up there, head towards the Route 5 gate up ahead and locate a ramp made of rock. Climb up it and walk straight to the chest.
Running Shoes	After the first patch of tall grass, turn right from where the wooden sign is and jump up to the cliff without grass on it (watch out for Tourist Chris behind the sign). Walk under the big tree and towards the log bridge on the left. Then, cross the bridge to reach the top of the cave entrance. From there, jump up onto the cliff on the right and turn left to find a chest and a bush statue of Louis under a tree.

Trivia[]

After Teneson uses Reragon to clear the fallen poles on Route 3, it is sent into constant rainfall in both the overworld and in battle. The rain persists until the first Key Guardian, Nimbus, is defeated.
After passing the bridge, turn left and climb the fallen log up to a landing. The player will find a space between the rocks there with the text "VELVEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get out of here".
The large flowers were introduced in v.0.9.50 and as of now, are the only way to get Blossaur.
A tip to find Blossaur in Graphite Forest is to look for things that look like the head of a Blossaur.
