- Its name was revealed on discord by wish on January 20th 2023.
- Its original name was ''Floyal'' however after the name reveal, many people gave feedback that said ''Floyal'' sounded too much like ''Floral'', so wish decided to changed the name to ''Foyal''.
- Foyal is the first and currently only the pure Metal-type Doodle.
- Foyal is one of a select group of doodles that can be found with a held item in the wild (the held item being power jelly)
