Equipment refers to various accessories that can be applied to your Doodles to increase their strength in battle through altering their stats — health, attack, defense, magical attack, magical defense, and speed. Each piece of equipment is unique in which stats it affects and by how much. Some may increase certain stats with no drawbacks, but others may also lower different stats in the process. Choosing the best equipment for your Doodles, based on their strengths and weaknesses, can be paramount in competitive play and late-game battles. While somewhat similar in function and name, equipment is distinct from held items.

The Equipment Case.
To access your equipment, you must either open the Equipment Case located in the Key Items tab or look at a Doodle's equipment tab in their summary window. This tab displays what the Doodle is wearing, if anything, and can be a much faster way to get to your equipment. There are three different types of equipment with their own corresponding slots: Helmets, Amulets and Artifacts. A complete list of all equipment in the game can be found below.

If you can't find the certain gear you know a Doodle is wearing, you can always click on "Unequip All" from the Equipment Case. This will remove all equipment of the selected type from all your Doodles — both in your party and your storage — and put them back into the Equipment Case.

*"Coolness" is purely cosmetic and holds no actual weight on your Doodle's stats.
How to Obtain[]
There are multiple ways to get equipment throughout the game. Simply following the storyline, talking to certain NPCs can, catching wild Doodles with equipment, completing Doodlepedia tasks, purchase at Social Park, and partaking in Runic Island runs can all earn you new pieces of equipment. While not practical enough to be a valid strategy, Doodles from the Roulette can also come with equipment. Currently, the easiest to get equipment is through farming wild Doodles, some of whom will rarely appear holding equipment. To get the equipment off the wild Doodle, you must first capture it and then remove its equipment.
To figure out if a wild Doodle is wearing equipment, you can either employ a Doodle with the Discover trait (although this will only tell you the Doodle is holding equipment, not what kind) or a gamepass-exclusive Key Item: the Magnifying Glass. The Magnifying Glass can check the stats and equipment of a wild Doodle before you catch it. Although it costs 450 Robux, the gamepass should be worth it if you frequently farm for things like equipment, stars, and traits alike. Your best chance for farming equipment is in Route 1, as each of the Doodles there have a chance of holding equipment.
