Desperation is a move used in battle when a Doodle fully depletes the uses for every move it has. It always deals 1/3 of the user's health as Recoil and is the only move with an unknown type. It is also the only move to target a random opponent in Double Battles. This move is impossible to obtain through leveling up, Scrolls, and Printing. Moreover, whenever a doodle is forced to use a move via Enchanted Ruby, Enchanted Emerald, Enchanted Sapphire, Taunt, Attack Seal, or Forced Repetition, if they run out that one move, then they use Desperation.
